Justin Timberlake’s Kids: Meet His Sons, Silas & Phineas, With Jessica Biel
The pop icon and his actress wife are raising two young sons away from the glare of the paparazzi.

Justin Timberlake has spent decades in the spotlight, transitioning from a child star on The Mickey Mouse Club to a global pop phenomenon with *NSYNC and a successful solo career. While he has dominated the charts and the big screen, his most significant role these days is being a father to his two sons, Silas and Phineas.
The singer and his wife, actress Jessica Biel, have been married since October 2012. Throughout their decade-long marriage, the couple has remained notoriously protective of their children, rarely sharing photos that show the boys' faces to ensure they have a normal upbringing.
The Arrival of Silas and Phineas
Their first son, Silas, was born in April 2015. His arrival even influenced his father's discography, as Timberlake noted that his hit 'Can't Stop The Feeling' was a rare track his son could actually listen to. The singer joked that much of his other music might be a bit too mature for the youngster.
In July 2020, the family grew with the birth of their second son, Phineas. While the couple keeps a low profile, they occasionally share glimpses of their home life on social media, such as a 2021 Father's Day post showing the trio playing video games together.
Raising the Next Generation
Timberlake and Biel are focused on instilling strong values in their boys. During the 2020 Black Lives Matter protests, Justin expressed his commitment to teaching Silas about racial equality, stating on Instagram that he wants his son to know that all people are created equal.
Biel has also been vocal about teaching their sons to respect women and understand gender equality from a young age. She believes that setting boundaries early helps boys grow into men who value equal partnerships in their future relationships.
Balancing Fame and Childhood
Though they are the children of two A-listers, Timberlake is determined to let them just be kids. He once explained on a podcast that while they aren't 'weirdly private,' they are conscious of preventing their fame from weighing down their children's lives.
If Silas or Phineas ever decide to enter the entertainment industry themselves, Timberlake is ready to help. He previously mentioned he could teach them 'a lot about what not to do' if they choose to follow in his famous footsteps.
