We get things wrong sometimes. When we do, we fix it fast, in the open, and we say what changed.
Report an error
Email newsroom@iboomslang.com with the story link and the detail you believe is wrong. Include a source if you have one.
We aim to respond to every correction request within 24 hours.
How we correct
Minor typos are fixed silently. Anything that changes the meaning of a story gets a dated correction note at the foot of the article.
Substantial rewrites carry an update stamp at the top so returning readers see what changed.
Stories we can no longer stand behind are retracted, not deleted: the page stays live with a clear retraction notice.
Right of reply
Anyone named in a story may request a right of reply. Where the request is reasonable, we publish the response alongside the original piece.
