Comment Policy
Comments on iBoomSlang are moderated by people. This is exactly how that process works.
What happens when you post
New readers' comments are queued for review before they appear publicly. Trusted contributors and verified staff publish instantly.
Editing a comment puts it back into the queue if you are not yet a trusted contributor — the previous version is kept in the comment's version history.
Notifications
You are alerted in the app the moment a moderator approves, rejects, re-queues or removes one of your comments, with a link straight back to the discussion.
Reporting and appeals
Any signed-in reader can report a comment. Reports are reviewed in the moderation queue and either actioned or dismissed with an audit note.
If you think a decision was wrong, reply to the notification or email newsroom@iboomslang.com and a senior editor will review it.
