Directed by Julia Willoughby Nason and Mike Gasparro, the series is scheduled to debut on August 26, 2026. The filmmakers, known for their work on 'American Murder: Gabby Petito', promise to feature previously unreleased footage and exclusive interviews with those closest to Mica.

Mica Miller was found dead at Lumber River State Park in North Carolina on April 27, 2024. While a medical examiner officially ruled her death a suicide, the circumstances sparked intense public scrutiny and local protests.

Prosecutors claim John-Paul engaged in a pattern of harassment against Mica starting in late 2022. They also allege he lied to investigators about causing damage to her car during their estrangement.
