Police issue photo of Hlengiwe Buthelezi wanted for DJ Warras murder
Authorities are searching for a 40-year-old woman alleged to be a key player in the targeted killing of Warrick Stock.

The South African Police Service (SAPS) has taken a significant step in the investigation into the death of Warrick Stock, widely known as DJ Warras. A photograph of 40-year-old Hlengiwe Goodness Buthelezi has been officially released as detectives seek her for her alleged role in the December 16, 2025, killing.
Detectives from the Provincial Investigation Unit for Serious and Violent Crimes are leading the search. Buthelezi currently faces grave charges, including conspiracy to commit murder and murder.
The Alleged Connection
Investigators believe Buthelezi is linked to Victor Majola, the man accused of masterminding the assassination. During Majola's unsuccessful bail hearing, it was alleged that Buthelezi provided the personal details of both DJ Warras and his partner to the coordinators of the hit.
The 40-year-old suspect is also thought to have resided in the same Johannesburg CBD building where the murder took place. This geographic link has placed her at the very heart of the SAPS probe into the tragic events of last December.
Public Outcry and Legal Progress
